Applications

It allows the production of SCOT ontology from the WordPress. Its design is based on the assumption that categories of the WordPress are used as tags. The simplest way to use this plugin is to activate it in the plugin menu on the WordPress administration panel and it requires no user configuration in order to work. The ontology created by the plugin can be found at http://yourhost/scot/scot.rdf.

It aims to create the SCOT ontology from a large number of RSS feeds on DBMS. This type of data set consists of multiple users from various blog systems, so it creates the ontology per an individual user.

It allows a user to cluster and search social relationships from the social tagging. It offers a convenient way to construct the concept lattice and then search the blog-tag relation using a simple query. From visualization point of view, concept lattices can comprehensively represent the duality of the relationship between actors and events. However, existed applications for the concept lattices are not focusing on analyzing lattices’ structure, but for representing the lattices. To make valuable efforts from the lattices, it has to require to human interruption. So it is important issues to display large data sets and to analyze them. Our tool has the data structure for representing concept lattices based on sets of bloggers and sets of tags and then represent the results by simple user interface by processing them through user’s selection.
